this is a coupler, you can walk 2 dogs on 1 leash. it can be attached to any leash. this coupler is made out of 9.7mm new mountaineering rope. this rope is resistant to grit, grime humidity, abrasion, which significantly extends the life of the coupler. i use metal rope clamps to secure each end and then cover them with heat shrink for a finished look.

this coupler is strong. we have tested these couplers on hundreds of big strong dogs for over four years. they are designed to last years. however, they are not chew proof…so if you’ve got a chewer or a teething puppy, buy them lots of chew toys, and put this away the minute the walk is over.

this coupler is one of the nicest i make because it is made with one of the most popular ropes. it is big and strong…with several thousand pounds of tensile strength! it is best suited for a big dogs weighing over 55 pounds each. it is made with big rope, heavy swivel hooks and large rope clamps. it measures about 30 inches from top to bottom and 56 inches from end to end. there is a swivel at the top end that attaches to the leash and swivel hooks at the other ends that attach to each dog's collar or harness as seen in the photos. the swivels help so each dog can move around and the rope and the leash do not get tangled. the environment in which you walk your dogs helps to determine the length of coupler you need. the long length is best for big dogs and in wide-open spaces without other people/dogs. you can see in the outside photos this length was used in wide-open settings.

it is machine washable in cold water, in a garment bag so it does not clunk around or get tied up in your washer and dried flat.
