Vintage Wood Block Vase-December

Description

This all upcycled wood vase is made from a vintage building block. It has been covered with original images from a large print of a perpetual calendar. I got it at one of those incredibly expensive specialty boutique places where you can't afford anything-you know the type! I loved the paper though and had to have it. This is December and I will be listing October and December as well but I can make any month. I can, however, only make one of each month so first come, first served-just drop me a line to reserve your month. Perfect for an anniversay or birthday and an ideal gift for either sex! There is a hole drilled in the top of the block and a vintage 4" glass test tube inserted. (I do not have a drill press-all holes are drilled by hand and may be a bit crooked at times) This is large enough for a single flower or remove the tube and use it for a pencil holder. I then sand all the edges and add a rubbing of oil pastel paint. Finally, a coat of sealer and two finishing satin finish coats are applied. This single block measures approx.2.75 X 2.50 X 1.25. Everything used to make this item has been upcycled including the glue and spray finish!
