Recycled Felted Sweater Pocket Purse - Blue, Grey and Red
Description
This one-of-a-kind coin purse is made entirely of upcycled boiled, thickly felted 100% wool sweaters.The body of this purse is cut from a thick grey bumpy textured sweater. The pocket features a rich red, raised ribbed wool and is cut from the finished narrower ribbed edge of the sweater. The front pocket flap is finished with a positive middle blue rib.
It measures 4 1/4 inches (11 cm) from center top to bottom and 5 inches (13 cm) across the top fold.
It closes with a magnetic clasp and is designed to hold coins safely even without a zip. The wool is reinforced with a fusible patch behind the clasp and seams are double-stitched and top-stitched at the pocket opening.
The power used to sew this purse was sourced from 100% wind energy and all water used in the felting process is recycled.
