Cake stands are fabulous, that's all there is to it. And they are great also because they can be used be used for pies, cookies, cupcakes, cheese-n-crackers, tarts... well, anything that is good to eat is good on a cake stand.
This stand is particularly fabulous with its buttery yellow base and cheery red scallop trim. It was made as part of a huge order that went off to Tokyo. This stand didn't quite make the cut because of a slight glaze run onto the scallop. Usual price is $115.
