Coral Reef - Lampwork Borosilicate Implosion Pendant - Intuibead

Description

This type of borosilicate pendant is called an implosion pendant because the interior is imploded during the creation process. Seated on a background of light cobalt blue is a beautiful "coral flower" of bright orange and yellow. A point to note is that because of borosilicate’s color dimensions, camera and monitor setting differences, the colors may look slightly different than what is seen in the photo.

The pendant measures 1 1/2 inches long from top of the loop to the base and the width is 1 inch.


All of my pendants are kiln annealed to allow the glass to cool evenly and properly and to prevent spontaneous cracking. Note that kiln annealing does not prevent damage or breakage due to rough handling and bouncing the pendant off of a concrete floor.

Coral Reef is strung on a very elegant sterling silver (925) choker. The choker hooks at the back but opens nicely to allow it to be easily donned around the neck.

The measurements of this choker are as follows: length from back to front: 5 1/2 inches, width: 5 inches and the silver choker itself is 3 mm wide.

Because of the curve of this choker, it cannot fit into the 2 cm slot for Canadian shipping so therefore parcel rates apply. If there is more than $1.00 difference between what is quoted and actual, I am more than happy to issue a refund via Paypal.
