Vintage Inspired Spun Cotton Snow Fairy Girl

Description

She's a pretty one! This spun cotton snow fairy figure is whimsical and almost angelic. She was hand spun using techniques similar to those of the early German artisans who created cotton ornaments for Christmas. She has a paper scrap face, crepe dress with silver dresden bodice and crepe shawl, a tiny rhinestone brooch and vintage paper wings dotted with silver glitter. She holds tight to a vintage silver glass ball, is about 4" tall and stands on a domed silver glittery knoll with vintage sheet music trim and white millinery flowers.

She is an everyday, Christmas or winter decorative item that would look great on a mantel, bookshelf, curio, etc. etc.
