Go Check On Granny - motif stitch pattern
Description
This stitch pattern is innovated by me to fill in the HOLES that our traditional Granny left behind. She isn't KNOTTY because the colors are worked in alternating rounds and when one of the 2 colors is not in use the dormant loop is pulled long to save the spot. The gauge given makes a 4" square (but once the pattern is established more rows may be added).The 5 round stitch pattern may be used any way you would use a traditional Granny Square (yeah, she's still SQUARE).
As a stitch pattern (as opposed to a design) this motif is copyright FREE.
