Ruby Red Beaded Felt Flower Brooch
Description
The felt for this pretty ruby red brooch was created by knitting and washing the resulting fabric to create a thick, lush felt. I hand cut the flower shape freehand and embroidered it with pretty variegated cotton threads. Many careful unseen stitches go into the piece to attach the layers and make the pin even more durable.Vintage ruby red and green glass beads add a little sparkle, but not too much!
The brooch measures approximately 4 X 4 inches.
