Peony is a 'Maniera in a box' - a Miniature figurine, inspired by vintage "Jack in the Box" toys and one of five 'Flower Manierettes', each representing one of my favorite Flowers, and I hope one of yours too.

She is OOAK, originally designed, made, and signed by me. At almost 4 Inches high, she's been made with loving detail, using a wide variety of materials: her face, bust and hands are made of resin plaster and colored with high-quality matt acrylic paint, her hair is made of wool roving, lightly needle felted to maintain its shape. The upper part of her dress is made of a variety of fabrics and hand tailored to fit her tiny bust and arms. The lower part of her dress is a felt 'softie', trimmed with beads and filled with polyester fiber. The peonies are made of thick and soft recycled paper.

Care Instructions: Please display and handle her with care, she is delicate and fragile. I recommend displaying her behind glass, if possible, to minimize dust. Remove any dust that collects over time with a small feather duster, or just Fooooo it away. You may consider framing her in a wood framed and glass-front shadow box to show her off as wall art, as well.

Please Note:
This Item is not suitable for young children due to her small parts.

She isn't a mechanical toy, the position of the doll and box are fixed in place. The box does not open or close, and the doll doesn't jump out of the box - she is a lovely frozen moment of artful beauty.
