Description
Yummy, Yummy Milk Latte Roving.Have you tried spinning milk fiber? It is soft, silky and dreamy to spin. It also blends beautifully with other fibers when drum or hand carding. When dyed, the colors just seem to glow. I am loving this fiber and enjoying not only the way it looks and feels, but the way it spins as well. It is a joy to spin.
This colorway is dyed in the color periwinkle and goes from light to dark within the roving. The listing is for 2 ounces, and I have another 2 ounces available, convo me if you are interested in all 4 ounces.
Milk fiber really is made from casein, which is a milk protein. It has anti-bacterial properties, the same PH as human skin and, did I mention before?, is extremely soft and silky. It also has wicking properties similar to wool, so is great for socks and summer garments. The drape and sheen of the finished yarn also make it a great choice for scarves and shawls.
