This is a very abbreviated version of my new tutorial “Polymer Clay Pendants with Leaf Imprints and Silver Frames”. The full version is available in a separate listing.

This part 1 of the tutorial shows how to create silver frames in virtually any shape you can imagine using only very simple techniques and basic tools. No soldering!

The tutorial explains how to use readily available commercial supplies to make your own flat and custom-shaped frames for polymer clay pendants. Examples shown in this tutorial demonstrate three different shapes of frames, with smooth, textured, and oxidized finish. For your convenience, I am including instructions both for people who want to just try these techniques without a serious investment into professional tools and materials, and also for those who have these tools.

The tutorial includes:

- Detailed list of materials, including information about the brands and the best places where to buy these materials;
- Complete list of tools needed to finish this project;
- Eight pages of detailed step-by-step explanations how to make the pendants;
- Fourteen big full-color pictures showing every step.

Please note: while these silver frames are intended to be used for polymer clay pendants, this part 1 of tutorial does NOT include any instructions related to polymer clay. If you need explanations for attaching the frames to the pendants, please purchase either Parts 1 and 3 or a full version of tutorial.

Pre-requisites: Some previous experience with metal and/or wire is helpful, but not necessary. Experience with polymer clay is required.
