GOLD SILK BROCADE VINTAGE 50s JAPAN JACKET and PANTS SET M

JAPANESE LOUNGING SET

Vintage 1950s Japanese lounge set!

All silk, the jacket is a gorgeous golden floral brocade with touches of white & orange.

The pants are black with a brocade front yoke.

Label reads S. Nishimura FURUMONZEN KYOTO MADE IN JAPAN.

A medium size, please check the measurements given for each piece for best fit.

The jacket feaures a mandarin collar, 3 big frog closures, padded shoulders, 2 black satin trimmed pockets, belt loops & sash & a white silk lining.

20 1/2" across under arms laid flat
20" across waist
22 1/2" across bottom.

The cuffed satin pants have elastic at the back of the waist & a left side opening with button closure.

36 3/4" long down side seam
Inseam just shy of 25" long
Crotch length 14 1/2" from top edge
16 1/4" rise
Leg openings are 11 1/4" across laid flat.

Pants are in excellent vintage condition. The outside of the jacket is excellent but the lining is poor, it is discolored & shattering under the arms as shown (could perhaps be patched), there are also a couple of pinholes & small age spots but the fabric seems strong in all other areas. Fab for costume or stage wear as is.
