100% superwash merino wool super fluffy roving! This roving is unbelievably soft and very smooth - it drafts like warm butter through your hands!! Simply enjoy your spinning and watch the colors meld. Your result is extra-plush ultrasmooth softness of beautiful merino yarn to knit or simply admire. The roving comes in a generous 4 ounce braid.

This skein contains lots of white stained with purple/violets - there should be a lot of barber-poling when spun!

Professional acid dyes and optimized reaction conditions - ultrafast colors that don't bleed. The dyes react via a hydration reaction mechanism with the amide bond in the wool. As a PhD chemist, I optimized the reaction conditions to drive the reaction to completion, which means that there is very little, if any, free dye left to bleed.

If you need more than 4 ounces, contact me - I usually dye up several skeins of roving in the same dyelot.
