Earl the Great Horned Jacabunny

In a brave effort to avoid the much dreaded "bad season" on the other side of the pasture down near the pond, the annual migration to the gentle and safe refuge of Strangeland by the Great Horned Jacabunnies has begun.

Earl arrived in the garden yesterday after following the snowy faint tracks of Nelson and Sven the Ursabobs who had been first to start the yearly migration a few days earlier. Glad to have made it in one piece, he settled in to relay tales of others who are on the way while sipping hot tea and munching jam slathered crumpets, warming his furry toes by the fire.

Earl stands 2.75" tall from the tips of his paper-clay horns to his tiny wee toes, made from the firmly needle felted wool of Bernice the sheep, a stalwart companion of Evelynn and Clarice the sheep who have taken up preemptive lodging of their own in the warm shed at the end of the garden.
