Odd Birds of LA 2010

Description

We collected 12 of our favorite odd local birds into a 12 month calendar, each bird appearing in a month seasonal to its appearance in town. The birds (and their official names) are letterpress printed from original illustrations hand-cut in linoleum. We've also included a guide in the back to help you find the birds in their favorite LA locations.

Handprinted letterpress images & text on recycled cardstock, tied with a ribbon for hanging. Comes with hanging instructions, in a manila envelope. Ribbon colors vary.

The full bird roster: belted kingfisher, surf scoter, burrowing owl, california quail, brown pelican, black-necked stilt, black skimmer, greater roadrunner, old english red pyle bantam cockerel, common raven, long-billed curlew and, last but not least, the eared grebe. (I also sell the illustrations as individual, limited-edition prints).
