Van Gogh as a Cat - Original painting

Description

Vincent Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists. This painting was inspired by one of his many self-portraits, only here, he has morphed into a cat. Perhaps this is a sign of a mental disorder on my part or maybe that's why he looks so distressed.

It is a small 4" x 6" painting on Canson Montval acid free 140lb cold press watercolor paper, in a 6 1/4" x 8 1/4" wood frame which I've painted in a rustic blue tone.

The "Portrait of Van Gogh as a Cat" and the hand painted frame are both sealed with protective coating. I've signed the painting on the back bottom corner.

The "Portrait of Van Gogh as a Cat" will be packaged in a sturdy mailing box and cushioning materials to ensure its safe travel.
