Boat Dreams Metal Sculpture

One of a kind , limited series #3 (of 8) artist signed. Blueish purple sky.

Miniature sailing boat rides the ocean under a moonlit sky.

The sky is a heat treated copper sheet that has been fixed with a rubbed wax finish that will slowly patina over time,deepening the colors.
On the sky is 4 Herkimer Diamond Quartz crystals set in Sterling Silver. Amidst the crystalline stars, is a resin enameled Sterling Silver full moon.
Riding on a patterned brass ocean (its surface is curved slightly into the foreground) is an oxidized Sterling Silver vessel. Diamond patterned brass sail, triangular top sail of Sterling Silver. Its riders are two simple bronze figures (representational structures) with red resin tops and gold leafed bottoms.
Wood under structure and framing. Black stepped shadow box frame, that can either be hung or sat on tabletop.

The elements of this sculpture were hand built using sheet metal. These are NOT found objects placed together. The boats are original creations solely built in its entirety by myself. I also built the frames.
