Ancient Shore - Fossil Ammonite Pendant
Description
I created this pendant using a fantastic fossil ammonite I found at a gem and rock show. I layered the fossil with a sterling silver cup held in place by curling "tendrils" of sterling silver wire. The ammonite is riveted to the handmade textured and antiqued brass pendant base with brass screws. A tiny sea urchin shell filled with resin is riveted to the center. Above the fossil, a rough nugget of aquamarine is held in place by brass wire.A rugged, organic pendant--measures about 1.5 inches wide by 2.5 inches long. On an 18-inch chocolate brown cord.
