Native American Beaded Earrings (Scottie Dog)

Description

I just had to bead these cute little Scottie Dogs!

The are beaded in brick stitch. Black matte Delica beads were used for the body and shiney red Delicas make his/her ribbon.

The beaded portion of each earring is 1 3/4 inches tall and he/she is also 1 3/4 inches wide. The surgical steel earwires add an additional 1/2 inch to the overall drop.

You may wonder what is the nexus between a Scottie Dog and a Native American. There was much inter-marriage between Scottish traders and Native Americans. My ancestorial tree includes McDonald"s and McIntosh's

Please note that I can change the wires to clip ons if desired or the color of the bow can be changed to any color of your choosing.
