Sleigh Bell Door Hanger with Holly Leaves

I really have a thing for tartans and plaids, especially in holiday colors. I also love the sound of old sleigh bells. Both remind me of Christmas past -- Currier & Ives, stockings hung on a mantel, sprigs of holly tucked into beautifully wrapped gifts.

This door hanger will jingle happily every time you open or close the door. The wool fabric keeps the metal bell from scratching your door.

Everything is recycled -- the holly leaves are made one-at-a-time from a recycled wool sweater. The plaids and tartans are from thrift shop skirts. The sleigh bells are vintage as are the buttons used.

Because each door hanger is handmade, pattern placement will vary as will size of holly leaves and buttons used. If you have a preference for one big button versus several smaller buttons, let me know in the seller comments and I will make it happen until stock runs low.
