Vintage emerald green and white rhinestone beads 1940's, Gold


The Wizard of Oz was introduced to the world in 1939 - just a few short years before these fabulous vintage beads were made!
These beads came from an estate in New York and I've been hoarding them since the mid 1980's, not really wanting to part with them.
A band of deep emerald green faceted rhinestones separates a top and bottom band of clear faceted crystal - these beads are approximately 10mm across (about 3/8"). Tiny 14K gold beads sit top and bottom , separated by gold plated ornate spacers.

Total length of these very elegant and very old fashioned looking earrings is approximately 5/8" and they have been finished on gold plated French ear wires.
They will arrive in a little box all ready for gift giving.
