Tutorial Bead Twist Wire Wrapped Ring

This listing is for a tutorial, not a finished jewelry item. In this tutorial you will learn how to make a wire wrapped ring that features a focal donut bead. Instructions are provided for the basic ring design which adapts to different shapes and sizes of focal beads. The tutorial for this ring is based on a design I learned in taking a class many years ago from the very talented Lynne Merchant. Depending on your choice of focal bead, the appearance of the finished project changes quite dramatically.

Materials/Tools you will need to complete this project:
-12 inches round, dead soft 16g sterling silver, copper or gold fill wire
-One flat donut bead or coin with hole in center large enough to accommodate two pieces of 16g wire
-ring mandrel
-chain/needle nose pliers
-flush cut wire cutters
-rubber mallet
-liver of sulpher (optional)
-00 steel wool (optional)
-fine metal file (optional)
