This work measures 9 inches x 7 inches. It is signed and dated top left lightly in pencil, H. Stooshinoff, October 31, 2009.

The painting is completed on heavy, gessoed, acid-free artist's paper. A quick pencil sketch is followed by bold, intuitive treatment with acrylics. The work is being sold unframed but a digital frame is shown so you can see how it might be presented.

I wander the hills just north of Lake Ontario. This piece is from a series of intimate, small landscapes that has been continuing for many years.

I have been painting, showing, and selling for over 25 years and divide my time between painting and teaching. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Master of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Education.
