Vintage Monk or Friar Figurine Circa 1950s

Vintage Monk or Friar figurine. Made of what seems to be a lightweight plaster that appears to be mixed with a fiber or paper. The paint is wore partly off his nose and in one spot on his base, and that is what it looks like to me. He is holding his bible in one hand and the other hand is behind his back. It is not marked, but I am positive it is circa 1950's. There is a hole in one corner of his mouth. I cannot imagine why, but it was made that way. Maybe he held a pipe? I really have no clue. He does have some places that need touched up with paint but he is overall in very good condition. Stands 6" high.

The cost is $1.75 for up to $50.00. Delivery confirmation is included at no additional cost on all purchases. I ship first class to Canada whenever possible. All other International shipping is based on item weight and size and will ship only Priority Mail. I do not ship glassware outside of the USA.
