English Trivia: Crumbles originated in Britain during World War II. Due to strict rationing of ingredients, a simple mixture of flour, margarine and sugar was used to make the top of the crumble. In the U.S. a very similar dish is called a crisp.

Note: This is a handmade cold-process soap that has cured for at least a month. Because it is handmade & hand cut, the soap's appearance may vary from the image in this listing. Because my soaps are made with a high percentage of olive oil and butters, they may be prone to taking longer to dry out in the shower. Therefore, when soap is not in use, keep it in a cool, airy, & dry environment. Storage on a soap dish with slots is recommended.
