A Geisha's Fan-10 yd Patchwork Skirt,Bellydance skirt, Folkloric Skirt

I made this using quilters cotton fabric.
there's geishas and fans on every tier and the trim on the bottom tier is a slight light pink fabric.
10 yards at the hem for some great twirling. Length is 37 inches long
Elastic waist fits from 22-40inches(If you need it bigger or smaller I will customize it for you)


Serged and sewed on all parts of the skirt.
4 tiers.
Tiers are double stitched.
I did not pre wash my fabric but No shrinking should occur because it should be washed in cold tumble dry low just to get wrinkles out and then hang it out to dry. Low iron -iron inside out. I've done this with my own skirts.Quilters do this with their own quilts-wash in cold and only put in the dryer for a few minutes on low or no heat just to get wrinkles out then hang it out to dry.If you dry it in the dryer to completely dry on a hot setting-yes, it will shrink.


Yes, this skirt requires some work to keep it nice because it is an investment.Great for a fabulous clothing piece or costume piece,no matter if your Tribaret, Tribal or Cabaret.
great for practice, spinning or a skirt routine.

I do have lots of pets and even though they don't all roam my sewing room -I thought I lyk.
