COBALT BLUE NECKLACE AND EARRING SET

Description

This set consists of shards of Lake Erie Cobalt Blue beach glass captured in heart shaped bead cages. I added a Swarovski crystal to each of the hearts as an added touch. The necklace pendant is mounted onto a Sterling Silver necklace measuring 18" long and the matching earrings are mounted onto Sterling Silver earwires. The holidays are just around the corner and this set would make a lovely gift.

Beach Glass, often referred to as sea glass, is created from glass that has made its way into large lakes and oceans. The glass is then naturally tumbled by the waves, causing it to crash upon the rocks and sand. This process creates one-of-a-kind frosted gem-size treasures that are eventually washed upon the shores and beaches. As more bottling companies are using alternatives to glass, such as plastic, beach glass is becoming increasingly rare and more difficult to find.
