Weee!! Christmas is coming, and it's gonna be time to shop till you drop! This season, you'll be in unique style as you go shopping (or partying) from Philadelphia to Paris!This bracelet is so cool. It has a vintage Gimbels tag and has the words New York and Paris on it. A transcontinental shopper..Huzzah!
Both the brass tag, and the bracelet are vintage brass. The have a lovely golden patina which has been sealed to protect it and keep it looking vintage and beautiful. The tag was formed to shape the cuff, and is firmly "stapled" to the bracelet and not glued.
♥Gimbels Dept Store was made famous in the fabulous 1947 Christmas movie "Miracle on 34th Street" starring the beautiful ever feisty Maureen O'Hara. Oh, and in the movie "Elf" Buddy worked at Gimbels... :)
Gimbels opened in 1887, and closed their doors in 1987..
