Small handmade ceramic box with Greyhound Whippet Sighthound motif
Description
A leaping of sighthound motif graces this small memory/keepsake box. Outside of box was glazed with two glazes overlapping a gray underglaze -- result is a rich satin gray tone like stone. Interior of the box is speckled turquoise. This is a one of a kind piece.I made this box with the intention that it be a memory box -- a special place to put my old Greyhound's tags, a lock of hair, etc. -- after he was no longer with me, but it would make a neat box for jewelry, special tokens, etc.
Dimensions:
Total height ~ 4 inches.
Box itself ~ 4" high x 4" wide x 4" deep.
