stuffed drawing - sophisticated dog

Description

I love to draw black line images on patterned fabrics. I started cutting the drawings out, sewing and stuffing them, fashioning the drawings into small pillows. I stitched little loops to the back, by my signature, so that they could hang on the wall or lay on the counter, table or shelf.

My dog Mickey lays around the house like this, paws crossed, the sophisticated pup. It looks like he's posing for his high school graduation portrait. Always cracks me up. And he has that terrier grin. But when I go to grab my camera to capture this pose, he gets up and follows me to where I go to get my camera. I'm going to have to start wearing my camera at all times.

So in the meantime, this is my drawing to replicate that studious dog of mine.

This little dog is ready to enliven a spot on your dull wall or snuggle next to your boring computer monitor. He's 10"/25.4cm long from tail tip to paw tip and 3.75"/9.52cm tall from ear to belly.

I used Golden liquid acrylic black to draw this flying dog on orange & yellow tie dye looking new cotton fabric. The little dog is stuffed with poly-fil to be about 2" / 5.08cm thick.

I hand draw, sew and stuff each dog. There may be small differences between the pictured dog and the dog that arrives at your destination. Usually, only I can spot what's different. :)
