Downhill Snail

Description

There's some kind of magic to a creature that carries it's home with it wherever it goes. Think about it: snails are loveable, but what are they without their shells?

This original sumi painting measures 7x7" and illustrates one of the medium's ironies: the simpler something appears, the more difficult it is to paint. Squeezing the maximum elegance and efficiency from the brush is difficult indeed.

Painting comes mounted to watercolor paper for strength and durability.
