Description

One of my tiny 5" horizon paintings.

Here is the sandy seaweedy beach on the marsh areas of the Essex Naze coastline. You can look out at the clear ultramarine blue water while you have tea and cake in the historic Naze Tower.

I studied painting and printmaking privately with Greenwich artist Annette Johnson. This was supplemented with classes at London's City Lit, Morley College, and Blackheath Conservatoire of Music and the Arts. I'm a fulltime artist working from my studio in southeast London.

My work has been exhibited throughout England and is in private collections both here and in the USA, Europe, Australia, Japan and Ireland. As well as various galleries I've had the pleasure of being included in shows at the Dulwich Picture Gallery, the National Maritime Museum, the Mall Galleries with both the Pastel Society and the Royal Society of Marine Artists, and the annual Cork Street Exhibition for Charity.
