Beading Kit for Jungle Collar

Description

A coordinating selection of beads plus step-by-step full colour instructions to make your own version of my Jungle Collar design. Learn how to work peyote stitch, edge it with drops, and embellish it with a lush fringe and beaded flowers and leaves. Let your beading imagination run wild!
Each kit is hand-picked and slightly different, so the beads you receive may not be the exact ones shown in the photograph, but you can be certain that your necklace will be unique!
The kit comes carefully packaged in a handy reusable storage box; the only things you’ll need in addition are a beading needle, a spool of nylon beading thread and some sharp scissors.

The colours currently available are Tropical (bright and zany, as in the finished collar shown in the photo), Midnight (dark and mysterious mixed metallics) and Pacific Blue (an underwater forest in blues and teals). Please contact me with your colour choice as soon as you have placed your order. As these kits are made up in small batches, it's very helpful if you can give a second colour choice in case your first choice is unavailable. Please also let me know if you would prefer to receive the instructions electronically as a pdf to print yourself, rather than as a hard copy.

This kit assumes no prior knowledge but is most suitable for beaders with some experience of beadweaving and a basic knowledge of peyote, fringing and brickstitch. You are free to make your own choices about the arrangement of the embellishments and stamp your own personality on this pretty design.

Alternatively if you just want the instructions, the tutorial is listed separately in the 'Kits' section of my shop.
