This is a NEW ruby color and it's in the red family. It's so so soft.

Something to make your Project truly unique and special. This ribbon yarn is made from hand cut strips of silk fabric sari's and sewn end to end. Perfect for freeform knitting and crochet, weaving, embellishing, embroidery, quilting techniques, mixed media collage, and virtually any edgy project. The Fabrics found in this yarn are generally silks with occasional metal threads. This would be the color an Indian woman from India would wear on her wedding day.

The yardage is approximately 25 yards (50 grams) and 10-20mm wide. PLEASE NOTE THIS,,,,My silk sari ribbon isn't starched (stiff), it is as soft as silky silk.

What am I doing with this?,,,well, I'm going to make beautiful clay pins with this in back drop, I'm going to do my purses with this, and embelish with it. I'm going to make some pendant necklaces too! I'm thinking I could also wrap this around straws and make beads, oh my the things to do with this and make it vintage!
