The Indigo Bunting-Turquoise Blue and Hot Pink-Handmade Altered Collage Bird Wall Hanging

I found a unique vintage book from the 1920's of gorgeous birds with songs and descriptions of each bird and thought they would make neat images for gift tags and wall hangings. My favorite part of each image is the little illustrations in the background.

This lovely wall hanging is made on a small wooden plaque that I decoupaged with a soft turquoise blue and hot pink polka dot paper. I added the distressed image of the bird to a pretty turquoise blue gift tag and tied it with brown satin ribbon. Other sweet things include two flowers layered with paper flowers in hot pink and turquoise with a baby blue fabric vintage millinery flower in the center. They are a nest to three little vintage plastic speckled eggs. A trio of buttons adorn the opposite corner. I added brown satin ribbon for hanging. The wall hanging is one of a kind and makes a nice door hanger too! Perfect for a bird lover!

The wall hanging measures approx. 4 1/4" by 5 7/8" and will arrive wrapped in a cellophane bag with ribbon and a cute gift tag!
