1940s style Black and Bright Blue Polka Dot DRESS with Puffy Sleeves

Description

A fantastic number with great retro 1940s style! Shoulders pads, fabric-covered buttons and gathered, puffy long sleeves (note photo from behind) add to the retro styling. (Has 40s details but the dress was made in the 1980s).

Hidden pockets. Reinforced belt with fabric-covered buckle. Polyester blend.

For comparison, shown on modern size 8 dress form. Suggest a modern M to XL (seems like a broad range but not a stretchy fabric and skirt is meant to be full, please see detailed measurements). Measurements taken while laying flat then doubled for the following:
Bust: 42 in.
Waist: 40 in.
Hips: 66 in. plus (can't account for all the pleating)

Length from back of neck to waist: 16 in.
Length from waist to bottom hem: 30 in.
Shoulder to shoulder: 16 in.


Great vintage condition with no obvious flaws, tears, stains or smells.
