Crochet Pattern - Penguin Purse or Softie

::This is a crochet pattern, NOT the finished bag/softie::

This is a super easy to follow crochet pattern to make a cute little penguin purse :)
The purse turns out to be approx. 5 inches/12.5 cm long and 5 inches/12.5 cm wide at the base.
It is crocheted with odds and ends of worsted weight yarn, and has optional plastic eyes and a little zipper.
The penguin is wearing ear muffs that serve as the handle :) I made this one's long because Oli likes to carry her purses over the shoulder, but you can make it shorter too. Instructions are given to turn it into a little softie also.
