RESERVED FOR CEYLANGUL - 6 OZ.

Contemplation is calm, complex, dark and beautiful, but alas, it's true natural is very hard to capture. Deep blue, burgundy and plum with hints of lighter shades, yarn created from this multi-toned wool can best be described as 'rich dark plum' - but that is only a beginning.

I created this colorway on a base wool that is 58's grade (medium fine) wool top blended from domestic and imported wool by a US mill that is certified organic by Oregon Tilth. It is easy to spin and will make a soft yarn with plenty of bounce. Great for scarves, cowls, shawls, wristlets - for anything where a soft bouncy yarn is called for. The dyes uses are low-impact Jacquard acid dyes - the 'acid' in this process is vinegar, and these dyes meet or exceed ASTM standards. Yarn shown in some of the pictures is spun from this colorway but is not included in the listing. I've done my best to describe and capture this colorway in the photos, but please keep in mind that monitors vary, and this deep colorway was particularly hard to photograph. Thank you!
