The Fish Wife

Description

Under a peaceful moonlit sky, the Fish Wife talks philosophy with Olivia Octopus while their starfish swim in the waves around them. This original painting is made by collaging color photocopies of my art onto a base 9" x 12" canvas. The image is then outlined using India ink and the shapes are filled in using acrylic paint from an assortment of companies, including Golden and Jo Sonja. The piece is given a coating of matte medium before being finished with a satin varnish. The edges of the canvas are also painted, making this piece ready to display in your home or office.
