Custom Order for smelisande

This is a custom listing for smelisande to include the following 2 pair of earrings:

1) These natural, semi-precious amethysts come in at approx. 6mm and display a light to medium shade of lavender with remarkable, eye clean clarity and have been diamond faceted for maximum light play. We were delighted when these natural beauties finally arrived and we were able to inspect them up close.

We hand set these gems into 4-prong sterling silver stud earrings. These earrings are big enough to get you noticed without being so heavy as to weigh you down.

We will include both sterling silver butterfly catches and silicone stoppers to hold these earrings in place.

2) Sometimes we overlook the obvious sources for some really amazing gemstones. We have a supplier here in the USA from whom we purchase a great deal of raw sterling silver and sterling castings. They have always carried rhodolite garnets at reasonable prices but I never considered the possibility that they might look better in person than they did in the catalog. My bad!!!

Having a hard time tracking down rhodolites from my usual sources, I added just a few to my recent silver supply order and, WOW, I was totally amazed when I opened the parcel of little raspberry beauties! Not only are they eye clean but the fire is a true raspberry color. Just a little bit of light really sets these beauties glowing!

Coming in at approx. 5mm round, we hand set these untreated, semi-precious gemstones into simple 4-prong settings of fine quality sterling silver. We will include both sterling silver butterfly catches and silicone stoppers to hold them in place.

We've already ordered more, I can't believe we've been missing out on these rhodolites for years!!!
