Chocolate Puff Vintage Button Brooch

Description

A fabulous celluloid buckle from Germany, plus two vintage buttons, are combined in this chocolate confection of a brooch. The buckle is large with scallops on the top and bottom; it's a soft brown with darker brown stripes and clear areas, where the silver back of the buckle shines through and catches the light. On top of that is another celluloid button, this one a chocolate brown, and finally comes a small glass button that is cream colored with molded flowers and flourishes and a touch of gold.

The brooch is about 2 1/2 inches wide and 2 inches tall (6.3 x 5 cm). The pinback is silver plate.

All of my jewelry comes packaged in colorful hand-made pouches--ready for gift-giving, but easy to open if you want to peek first.
