Starship Scarf

Description

An incredibly soft scarf made from a single ply handspun yarn. The batt was aptly named Starship and contained mostly kid mohair, although there are small orangey nepps that may be silk noil. I knit it in a simple but smooshy ribbed pattern, which flares out a bit at the ends. I loved the contrast between the way this scarf looks, textured and rough, and the way it feels, which is smooth a soft. I can wear it around my neck without any scratchy feeling. It is 51" long and a little over 3" wide.
