Hand Carded Batt, Cotswold, Mohair and Nylon, Great for Socks
Description
These batts are made with hand dyed cotswold wool, hand dyed fine adult mohair and nylon. This would spin up into a wonderful sock yarn for soft, long wearing socks. The cotswold has a great crimp which would produce a lofty, warm yarn. I processed the wool and mohair from raw fleeces (processed meaning skirted, washed, dyed and picked the wool before carding). The cotswold fleece was purchased from the Midwest Folk and Fiber Fest. The mohair was purchased from Tall Grass Farms in Wisconsin where I was able to watch the goats being sheared. These batts were carded on a Pat Green drum carder. Three batts totaling 3.8 ounces.Items shipped USPS priority shipping. Please convo me for other options.
