I love how vintage yearbooks really take you back in time. They are real. They have real messages from real students with real dreams and no true vision of today. You really get a glimpse into how the students dressed and played. Sure, you could watch a movie from the time period, however they are staged and rehersed.This 1957 yearbook from Sam Houston Senior High School in Houston, Texas is full of messages to "a really sweet girl." My favorite is, "To a cute little chick who had better study English. Jimmie Davis". The photos are awesome as well! It is in good condition with no major wear.
