Jade and Black Winter Coat. US size 6 (AU sz 10)
Description
One of my latest designs, the Penelope Red Jade Winter Coat. It is also my most favourite design I have made yet! No other coat will be exactly the same!
The main fabrics used in this coat are recycled wool blends. The checked fabric is a boucle, featuring varying colours of jade, blue, green and black. This is contrasted with a jade and black slubbed fabric. Then faux fur adds to the decadence around the cuffs and collar.
I love this coat! The full hem and tailored waist create a very elegant silhouette. The full pleated sleeve adds extra detailing, and the contrasting fabrics really gives this coat character and that Penelope Red panache!
Let the coat make the statement in your outfit. Wear it with a skirt, jeans or a dress. Add some heels and you are ready to go!
This coat has a lot of work involved in the construction. It has been fully inter-lined, interfacing has been applied, as well as being fully lined in silk. There are side pockets, and four vintage buttons fasten at centre front.
