a spell of lost enchantment -- porcelain poem pendant

Description

This porcelain pendant is glazed in a green shino glaze that is a very warm redwood color where thin and evergreen where thick. Through the freckled colors, the lettering reads:

A SPELL OF LOST ENCHANTMENT

Nay, but something of thy love,
Passion, tenderness, and joy,
Some strange music of thy beauty,
Some sweet pathos of thy tears,

Must imperishably cling
To the cadence of the words,
Like a spell of lost enchantment
Laid upon the hearts of men.

The back of the pendant is unglazed white porcelain, subtly stamped with "PANOPOLY." (see photo for example)
Measurements: 22mm by 27mm (.9" by 1.1")

My poem pendants are hand-cut from wet clay, hand-inscribed using tiny stamps, and brushed with nontoxic glazes. For beauty and strength, they are fired twice in my kiln, then strung on a solid copper chain, complete with a handmade clasp.

By default, this pendant comes with an 19" (49cm) chain. However, I make my chains to order, so feel free to request a different length in your notes during checkout. If you don't want a chain at all, please contact me and I will give you a discounted price on the pendant. I can include a vintage length of ribbon or lace at no additional charge.
