The Firebird - Original Canvas Painting

Description

This one has been waiting in my sketchbook for such a long time, and when she finally got out, she danced across my canvas with a fiercesome, fiesty spark!

The Firebird ballet premiered by the Ballet Russes in 1910, with a radical musical composition by Igor Stravinsky, and over time has attracted costume designers ranging from Leon Bakst to Marc Chagall, thus it is a very important ballet in the history of theatrical costume.

This one is my own interpretation.

The Firebird is painted on an 8x10 stretched canvas with acrylics and just a smidgen of fairy glitter on her tutu. The painting is signed on the back of the canvas.

As with all my original works of art, she will be wrapped up safely and all US orders will be insured.

Please note that computer screens can distort colours a little bit, so while I try my best to make sure my images are true to colour, it may show up slighty different on your screen.
