Simple Primitive Santa with Sweet Annie and Stocking

Description

This Santa is 22 inches tall and made from muslin.I then aged him for that prim antique look. His head is round with painted eyes and pinch stitched nose. His beard is needle felted raw sheeps wool. On the top of his cap is a bell and I tied a piece of twine around it, in case you would like to hang your Santa. He would look wonderful sitting near your fire place or on the mantle.

The coat is made from a burgundy brushed cotton. He has short pants on underneath. Boots are painted with thread stitched on them for faux laces. He holds an 11 inch stocking with pip berries, chenile candy canes, cinnamon stick, and a rusty star. The stocking can be easily removed and hung on a peg shelf if you wish.

On his back he carries Sweet Annie in a burlap bag. This is stitched to him and not so easily removed.
He also has a hang tag with a vintage Santa on it. I added some glitter to the perimeter of the tag. Vintage graphic by ewe n me printables.
