White Sage is traditionally used in cleansing ceremonies (smudging) to drive out bad spirits, negative feelings, energies or influences and are often included in medicine bags. In some traditions White Sage is the herb for the Autumn Equinox and Samhain. It is also reported some like to use it at Yule, to help them and their kindred remain bright when the days are at their shortest. The leaves are valued for their aromatic properties and can also be used as a natural moth repellent.

This listing is for 1 Wild-harvested, hand-bound and blessed White Sage Smudge Wand that weighs 1 ounce and measures 4 inches long.

To use: Light tip of sage wand over a flame/heat-proof bowl or seashell and blow out when tip is glowing and use your hand or a feather to fan the smoke through the room and yourself. We would be more than happy to include instructions on how to smudge, including a cleansing ritual if requested.
