Sagittarius Necklace - Vintage Astrology Zodiac Retro

Description

This retro Sagittarius zodiac necklace is reversible. One side features a centaur with a bow and arrow, taking aim into the sky. Three rhinestones surround the centaur, symbolizing stars. The other side features the glyph for Sagittarius; a horizontal line intersected by an arrow. I have added vintage double link chain in a subtle gold tone and three iridescent Czech glass beads. I kept the toggle in the front of the necklace, as the shape complements the bow, arrow, and glyph.

The pendant is 2 inches in diameter (5.1 cm). The chain length is 18 inches (45.7 cm).

The Archer is really a centaur, the lower half is horse, the upper half is a man. The man is holding a bow with an arrow aimed upwards toward the sky. This symbolizes the Sagittarian's drive to overcome basic animal instincts by aiming their thoughts into the divine realms of the heavens. In other words, Archers are hunting for ideas and experiences that draw them into greater awareness. As such, Sagittarians tend to love adventure, travel and philosophy; all ways of extending beyond one's immediate surroundings.
